It just seems harder than it used to somehow. Maybe mentally - I'm not sure.

I wonder if the environment has changed, or if it's just me.

That said, I am happy talking to my online friends, even if it's only briefly

I feel like for months I've been more busy than I used to be. I miss being online more, but I don't really feel like I have a lot to contribute so I'm more of a part time lurker now. 🧍

I feel a little bad about it, even if I might not need to 😥 I want to support/encourage people in what they make

I think I try to dodge a lot of this feeling by working my sketches till they are a 1:1 for the line art

- it takes a while, but maybe it's more... Mmm... Solid that way, so I'm less disappointed if it's not exactly what I had in my head

I think it carried though well here!

But it is a sentiment I've heard a lot. I think it's because our brains can complete the picture of a sketch in the most ideal way, which might be why we view it as more stiff when we try to complete it ourselves 🤷

I appreciate step processes like this, because it's sometimes hard to remember all that goes into making a single panel - and the effort you put in yourself to make it there! 😃

I also like that you can see the intention for what it's supposed to be all the way through!
