TheTakeItBackMovement.com The Take It Back Movement is exposing how the 1% stole what workers built & making that theft visible in public. We’re building a national wave of everyday people speaking out, showing up, & pushing back to take back what’s ours.

Americans don’t have enough money.

Why?

Bc greedy corporations froze wages, raised prices, & left us without any security.

Now 80% of us don’t have enough savings. That’s not all of us being lazy. That’s not all of us forgetting how to budget.

That’s a rigged system and it’s time to push back.
Greed is the disease.

Community is the opposite of greed.

We need to build a community large enough to rival the rigged system.

Not left vs right. It’s up vs down. Greed is the disease.

We’re building a community of people who want to change their habits long term. Away from corporations and towards localism.

We only win if we all speak out.

Shared language and shared acts equals shared power.

They’re not the billionaires. They’re the hoarders.
We need a sustained general strike.

But first we need to build the systems that sustain the strike

-Blackouts bring people in
-Shared language and actions builds community
-Ratchet up the pressure at work. Coordinated pushback
-All while building the systems we need to sustain the strike long term
This isn’t just a one time Blackout. It’s the first step in a transfer of power.

Coordinated national pushback for maximum local impact.

But pushing back only works if we also build systems to sustain it.

We have to build a community large enough to rival the rigged system.

Of course a single boycott isn’t going to work.

That’s not what this is.

We are using the momentum that mass action creates to build a community of people who are changing their habits long term.

We aren’t just talking about what’s wrong. We’re building what’s right.

Greed is the disease.

The opposite of greed is community.

The blackout isn’t just a boycott. It’s mass action that builds momentum. And we’re using that wave to create a community.

A community large enough and organized enough to rival the
rigged system. Join us.

An anonymous employee at The Great Wolf Lodge in Perryville,MD, a veteran, was told not to come to work until the VA signs accommodation forms for the employee to return to work. The employee had just asked for accommodations with a doctors note.
