This is the 1st official week of marathon training! I am about to run hundreds of miles to raise support for
@takebackthehalls.bsky.social

I am hoping to match each week's miles with donations. This week I will be running 12 miles. I would love it if 12 people donated $12 this week.

Sexual assault awareness does not end in April. We must continue the conversation and challenge the ways we think.

There are resources for survivors and perpetrators of violence; National Sexual Assault Hotline is available 24/7. You can chat online or call at 800.656.4673

Oftentimes, people are hesitant to believe survivors because the person is “someone who’d never do such a thing.” This narrative is invalidating, harmful and causes people to not get support. It allows people who have caused harm to avoid accountability and continue the cycle of violence.

Talking about dating can be uncomfortable and at times, AWKWARD! Especially for parents and their children— so we’ll be sharing some some cards to get the discussion started🗣️💬 Having these conversations are foundational for healthy relationships #teendatingviolenceprevention

Thank you Hernandez Middle School for having TBTH at Report Card Pickup Day! We had the opportunity to connect with parents & students on how to have healthy, important conversations about dating and relationships. Younger siblings had fun naming their emotions with the Inside Out characters. Fun!

Jealousy is a hot topic of discussion with the students of TBTH. It can be a tough emotion to navigate, but it doesn’t have to control you. In healthy relationships, trust and respect are key. You deserve love that makes you feel safe, valued, and supported. #HealthyRelationships

Even our healthy relationships will have arguments. Conflict is a part of every relationship—but how we handle it makes all the difference!
#HealthyRelationships #ConflictResolution #FairFighting #TeenDatingViolence
Here are some Fair Fighting Rules to keep disagreements healthy and productive:
❌ Don’t bring up the past, use “always” or “never,” or give the silent treatment. Remember, it’s not about winning.
✅ Do focus on active listening, use “I” statements, talk in person (if safe), and check in with yourself

Self-love is the foundation of healthy relationships—including the one you have with yourself!

Remember: Self-love isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. 💕
