If you think physicians are overpaid, maybe you should take the necessary course work in undergrad, take and pass the MCAT, apply for med schools, pay hundreds of thousands for tuition, learn for 4 years in a very high pressure learning environment, then pay thousands more to apply for a training…

Client just sent over irs correspondence asking for paycheck stubs and a letter from the employer on letterhead stating dates of employment. TP is a salaried nurse and spouse is a self employed (1099) RE Agent. This seems unusual. Any insight? #taxtwitter #taxsky

I can remember when Government tried to use the tax code to encourage behavior that it deemed desirable. I’m reading about an Ohio proposal that will let workers deduct overtime pay from their state taxes. I have spent way too much time noodling over what the goal is here. Ideas?

I finally got my CAF linked to authorizations in my tax pro account. I was shocked to find a company that I have never heard of and I was listed as an attorney. I withdrew of course but wow, IRS!
