My undergrad was something like 5% black (and the majority of us were athletes). Someone wrote an op-ed my freshman year saying black students are unapproachable because we *checks notes* ate together in the dining hall. All 6 of us 🥴🥴🥴 they called us intimidating and everything.
When I attended Temple University, back in the early 00s,
the university was unofficially considered “a Black school” because of the amazing racial diversity.
Temple was 12% Black when I attended—mirroring the nation itself.
Most white Americans are simply used to being in all-white spaces.

A reminder that most Americans who are life-long citizens have nothing OTHER than a Real ID to prove their citizenship. This is CBP’s chief enforcer saying that ID doesn’t count.
Bovino, the man overseeing mass deportations, publicly declared that we must all have our papers on us, at all times, or we could be stopped, harassed, kidnapped, and detained, as they did with the man in this case, who is a US citizen.
