I made a version of BBBR that is as easy as possible to run as a TO

it has instructions, fullscreen, easy controller binding, QOL improvements (with options to revert), and a ruleset, it doesn't get much easier than this

Yeah if you don’t expect Bayonetta the game is honestly super sick, and the soundtrack is straight up one of my favorite video game soundtracks

I tentatively recommend the game because the combat is I think probably not for everyone, but the feel and depth is there if you want it

Also people hate the stealth segments but I like them a lot, it’s a fun break in the pace and you can get pretty creative with distractions and takedowns

I’m playing it this time emulated so I have have higher resolution and 60fps and it has been an amazong experience

It feels kinda unintuitive at first and then right around for me file 02-03 it just kinda clicks and your brain gets it

It’s anime as fuck, amazing soundtrack, and really fun as long as you don’t go in expecting Bayo combat

The combat is a very unique flavor of Platinum that I don’t feel in any of their other games, it’s still fast but definitely slower paced with an emphasis on “solving” combat with your tools

Cross the Worlds is a high tier Sonic theme for me, I think the lyrics are cheesy as hell, but it's stupid catchy, and hits the vibes I love from the non Crush 40 modern Sonic stuff like Reach for the Stars, Break Free, etc.
