There wasn't much he could respond with to that. It had been a fair request. However, it would have been wiser to ask first. On the other hand, Crowley likely would have been refused, which is why he merely hums in reply as Nel is taken from him. Riah reclined, crossed a leg, and rested his arms -

Define—normal. I didn't subject you to that type of behavior. Again, I became more—normal as you say—after you came to be. People grow, they change. It just took me nearly a decade to do so. Jude has his own life, Westley, and he is living it. He just wants you to be apart of it. -

It's referred to as self-control, my son. If you haven't realized, I don't lash out at everyone who frustrates me, only those who genuinely warrant it. This is also part of parenting. It tends to calm you down over time. I finally experienced this after... Well, it was actually after you were born.
