still planning on doing 999 title defenses if the game gets into GDQ lol
Tried doing some title defenses on Teleroboxer, and it looks like the main problem to solve is Ikanger. All the other fights are cheese-able if something goes wrong, but the Ikanger strat for the main game has no room for error.
got a 13.64 Tukikage (-3.30 lol) but the strat is garbage to try to optimize
10.10 Dorihey (-0.80), one frame away from optimal for this strat
found the list of words for Mickey's Ultimate Challenge in memory, but I highly doubt that all of them are used in the game ("UXORIOUS"?)

found new strats for Dorihey which apparently save 0.58 (typical single-segment RNG) and 0.78sec (after reset RNG) over the old ways
long story short, just do the ending charged hook like five times, except randomly he might not give you the hook after disappearing
(on emulator) actually, now that I'm playing around with it, it seems really finicky. maybe okay to do in an IL setting, but pretty risky in a full-game run
got some 13.xx's in a few attempts (previous record was 16.9x)

got 14.92 on Spokong. probably going to take a break on this game now and just play through random VB games

Hastily threw together AGDQ submissions: Teleroboxer, Goodboy Galaxy, Amazing Mirror (100%), Innsmouth no Yakata, and Dandy & Randy (w/ Bbforky). If I have time (and I remember), I'll go back and revise the blurbs.
got a 2:12.60 full-game and a 15.16 Spokong today. might go for sub-15 on the latter, but it's a hard fight

while Spokong starts steaming, you jab to start the second phase as usual, but you can actually buffer a body blow right after. if you got a punch cancel earlier this eliminates all the RNG from the fight
finally got this last IL (-0.28), but it required a new strat. 15 tomorrow lol
16.96 on Tukikage today, found a strat for 9.18 Pagero, and finally figured out the stun meter: only hard hits count of course, but you can cancel them counting to the stun meter by jabbing in a 3-frame window (explains why you have to delay on Pagero and why the Spokong fight sucks lol)
