The next time you have something bad to say about a CPS worker, realize that they can be working over 24 hours straight and that is legal. This is me right now. Been working for over 20 hours and have four hours left. I am dying but also want to make sure these kids are safe. I am doing my best 😭

Oh it is. How this is legal and commonplace astounds me. But kids get abused at all times of the day and we can’t control that. Wish we had more funding so there could be more staff. I’ve already had two coworkers in my team quit this month alone and honestly I get it

Oh girl yes literally everywhere. I mean I get it the system sucks and is broken but also if the government valued children’s lives then there would be more funding and therefore less burned out workers.
