It's brainwashing ... pure and simple
I was out for my daily walk through a wooded park and rubbish, mostly in white refuse sacks, was piled high around a bin.

A young woman with her dog said to me: “Did you see who did this?”.

“No” I replied.

“It’s illegal immigrants, isn’t it? And that dump in Oxfordshire”, she said
8,000 illegal waste sites
13 million tons of rubbish
No controls on waste dumped sometimes near rivers + in floodplains
Burning of waste
Little or no policing

How criminal dumping of waste became the 'new narcotics'

There is a lot going on in US about IRS giving data to Homeland Security (ICE). A judge has ordered it to stop

I do wonder if Reform (baby MAGA), would do the same here if elected to power. Just asking

Nigel Farage is a huge success.

He has turned Britain into a country no one wants to come to and everyone who can wants to leave.

Unless you’re fleeing terror of course. Because even Britain beats that. Just.

Plus criminal investigations of individuals.
@bylinetimes.bsky.social
It’s clear to anyone paying attention that Farage won’t investigate the Russian infiltration of Reform.

The Prime Minister must step up and launch a national investigation.

“It sounded as if he was suggesting that songs about gassing Jews, Asians and Black people amount to no more than “banter”. That’s not schoolboy Farage talking, but the Farage of 2025.”

Yes. Same racism. Now weaponised by the wealth and power of the far right.

Why do so many prominent Brexiteers live in France? Nigel Lawson; Andrew Neil; and former Brexit Party & UKIP MEP David Coburn. Asked to account for himself in the Nathan Gill story it turns out he lives in a French chateau. The brazen hypocrisy of this lot is just staggering!

Why would a fervent Brexit supporter upsticks ... to go to live in Europe?

The double standards is off the scale, given what they have inflicted on our country, and by default the European Union.

@bylinetimes.bsky.social
Very much enjoying this BBC article explaining how David Coburn, Nathan Gill’s fellow MEP who acted as an echo chamber for Gill’s Ukraine position, is now another bloody immigrant living in his “chateau in France” (but took no 🇷🇺 money)

His Wiki page is worth a read

Fantastic story .. thanks Brian for all you do and post.
Having been mistakenly included on an electoral roll, Manchester shopkeeper Lily Maxwell voted in a by-election on this day 1867, more than 50 years before (some) women were enfranchised by the Representation of the People Act. Suffragists seized on it as a test case.
