It is sad and sickening to see the United States groveling at the feet of a murderous dictator.

And putting the democratic world through the woodchipper for what? Just a little bit of money.

117,000 people live within half a mile of the E line, opening for service today. It marks the 8th BRT line in the region and the third new BRT line that Metro Transit has opened this year. Transit is getting better every single day in MN.

It's baffling that we allow private companies to use public infrastructure as their R&D lab, externalizing the risk onto the public, while they fine tune their unproven software.

This is not a peace plan. It is a proposal that weakens Ukraine and divides America from Europe, preparing the way for a larger war in the future. In the meantime, it benefits unnamed Russian and American investors, at the expense of everyone else.

The US betrayal of Ukraine to support a brutal, murderous dictator is a truly shameful moment in our history.

Sickening to see the US welcome another brutal dictator to the White House. This one had a US citizen killed and chopped up with a bone saw.
When Muhammad bin Salman visits the White House he will bring a long wish list, from a defence pact to a deal to purchase F-35 fighter jets. One thing he will not be eager to discuss is recognising Israel
Saudi Arabia is in no hurry to join the Abraham accords
Muhammad bin Salman no longer needs to recognise Israel to woo America

One significant way to fix the federal deficit? Dramatically raise the minimum wage across our country. It will cause an increase in tax collections, much less people on federal assistance, and health outcomes will improve causing less reliance on federal health programs.

Concentration camps. In America. Today.

Listen to Edward R. Murrow describe the Buchenwald concentration camp.

We absolutely can not allow this to be our present or future.

How much information do we need to take the right action with this guy?

- He admitted he assaults women
- He fantasized about his own daughter
- He said he walks in on naked teen girls
- He was adjudicated for SA in court
- He was credibly accused by lots of women

We've always known. We failed.

"The only clue to what man can do is what man has done.”

I was struck this evening by this quote at the end of the excellent movie Nuremberg. The movie draws a not-so-subtle line between the atrocities of the past and those of today.
