Here’s my contribution to this year’s Stroud Film Festival Film Posters Reinterpreted. The theme for 2025 is Horror, so I chose the daddy of them all, Bela Lugosi, as Dracula.

You will be able to see our exhibition throughout March at The Stroud Brewery and The Prince Albert pub.

This was one of four pieces I did for the remake of The Magnificent Seven in 2017. Still quite like it as an idea but I think I’d render it in quite a different way today. Also showing the original rough concept submission.

Film director John McTiernan turns 74 today. Coincidence or not, La Septieme Obsession also releases a new issue in 2 days time devoted to McTiernan’s work. I have a page illustration in there paying tribute to perhaps his most celebrated and influential movies.
