This photo was taken at twilight on the Wales Coast Path near Gwbert in Ceredigion on 15 September 2025. It was so windy and stormy that it was very hard to stay upright. Waves are crashing over a cliff in the foreground, and it felt like they were trying to reach the stunning pink cloud which appeared to be suspended in the sky.

We woke up to over 6 inches of snow last week in Pembrokeshire, Wales on 20 November 2025 caused by what's known as the "Pembrokeshire Dangler". Amidst the widespread winter wonderland in our garden, ice hanging from our washing line caught my eye, and I was transfixed as droplets of water appeared and fell. This close-up image shows the structure of the ice against a background of snow as a droplet falls from one of the tips.
