I separated my male and female guppies into separate ponds.
I researched what might happen to those 8 horny males.
Answer- they may naturally ‘go gay’
Mine have gone fabulous!

Four male guppies, blue/purple in center, facing 4 o’clock, one orange/red to his right and blue/orange/reds to his left (swimming perpendicular to him) and one behind him (facing 180 deg. Of blue(and one in back)). This is square dancing, gay guppy-style. There is a lot of territorial bickering and mate swapping, but they have to live together! Sometimes dance-fighting goes on until late in the morning.

‘S’ is for sassy with this crew! …and three is Never a crowd. Two blue/red/orange bookend the blue/red and seduce him with their tantalizing dance moves.
