Holy hell. This is amazing!
Beautiful and very nostalgic!
Dude. That Steam Page goes HARD. <3
I mean just show them in the scale you intend them to appear in the game - nevermind there's no game yet. :-) It's really hard to figure out what am I looking at when the pixels take up half of the screen.
Just launched a demo, and our Early Access release is in late November!

Play the DRONE DISTRICT Demo on Steam and discover the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater of #FPV drone games! Designed to be beginner-friendly but also to offer a new and exciting challenge to the experienced player.

Very hard to follow the animation and imagine the finished character at this scale. Maybe export them in in-game resolution, to give the viewer a better grasp of how it will look like in the game itself?
I feel for you!
I did all the pixelart in my game, and then made some drawings of the main characters in pencil (granted - I used a popular cartoon for some reference), traced them into pixel art, made two distinct variations... and I get a lot of comments that "my art looks AI". Screw this noise :(
Wishlisted in a heartbeat!

The Grid.
A digital frontier.
I tried to picture clusters of information as they traveled through the computer.
Ships, motorcycles.
With the circuits like freeways.
I kept dreaming of a world I thought I'd never see.

And then, one day...

I got in.
I'm anticipating the release of a Steam home console for some time now. It would make perfect sense.

Imagine @steampowered.com releases a new version of Steamdeck, that is slightly more powerful, but comes without a display or controller, and works with external display and bluetooth controllers.

Would you buy it?

Sounded silly in 2018, doesn’t sound half-bad in 2024.
Oh, in that case I applaud you even more. Custom-made always has an edge over store-bought assets, when it comes to imbuing a game with a "soul" of its own :)
DRONE DISTRICT (demo available!)
store.steampowered.com/app/3745400/Drone_District/
FPV drone aerobatics and racing game that's easy to pick up for a beginner, and a great challenge for a pro.

Think Tony Hawk's Pro Skater with drones. And bullet time!

I can clearly see all the passion and hard work that's been put into the new visuals, but Ireally LOVE the old-school aesthetics you've started with :)
so cool! I love the sword swinging mechanics (if I read it correctly) that makes you think about the direction of movement to gain an attack opportunity. Never seen anything like it!
It's all fun and games until... your UI... develops... an eye?

It is, it has been, IMO, and I don't see that changing, sadly. But at the very least cozy/wholesome games have their own niche and audience.
The way I see it, it's a step towards reducint the wishlist value inflation, that's been a real plague for the last year or two.
This really co-incides with the introduction of the new feature. My guess is this will make gaining and maintaining a wishlist even harder for games without a significant buzz off Steam. But in the end it will also mean the treshold you need to get to to have a good shot will be lower in general.
This might have to do with Steam's new UI.
A button linking to user's personal wishlist page is now prominently featured next to the main search bar. A lot of people are being reminded their wishlists are bloated and head in to do some housekeeping, removing the games they don't instantly recognize.
Hello Wally. You're a nice clump of pixels, lots of character for such a lil guy.
I don't really play a lot point-and-clicks and I don't think I'll get around buying your game. But I know just how important wishlists are - you have mine!
*tips hat to a fellow Douglas Adams fan*
