one of my relatives talks like Trump... pretty sure they have narcissistic personality disorder... i don't know they ever cared about anyone besides themselves.

i can't watch his speeches.. if i want to know, i'll read what he said. brings back memories to actually hear him speak.

I'm not a big blocker... only 211 accounts so far. Each time, I check history and make sure I've understood the context of the convo(s) that made me decide to block.

But with this administration, and its Goebbels style propaganda, blocking is the only moral choice.

Seems that blocking administration accounts is the least we can do to show opposition to the Trumpian Regime.

Without seeing the plan, its hard to state. The first report was ship fired guns, which, due to the beach to highway distance.. I don't see a way to make that safe.

We did live fire either at sea, or at San Clemente Island. Firing at a land artilery range inland, over a highway seems bad idea...

I'm wondering if Congress will ever sit again. Since sitting means the discharge petition sees life.

My guess is that Johnson will not open Congress until there's less than 218 persons signed... so waiting to flip someone, or waiting for someone to die (or fall out a window).

all media is reporting on this. finding info is easy. the USMC statement says where they're shooting.

If you look at the map, the waterline at Red Beach, where the USMC announced they'd do the live fire, is 500m from Highway 5.

I used to do shore artillery bombardment. You'd have to close the highway to do the exercise.
