Sunrise Richmond condemns efforts by the Richmond School Board to undermine and reverse the union rights recently won by RPS employees. If you’re able to, please attend the rally before the School Board meeting tomorrow to demand that RPS respect the collective bargaining agreement #RVA

It is unconscionable that Governor Youngkin would deprive Virginians of life-saving vaccines, forcing residents to travel to nearby states in order to protect themselves from COVID. We cannot wait for resolution to the chaos at CDC; vaccines are a human right and must be made available now!

Which begs the question, why are privatized energy companies a thing? Publicly-owned utilities would protect consumers and businesses alike from arbitrary rate increases to satisfy investor greed, and respond much more quickly to consumer needs (like deploying renewable energy sources)

Dominion Energy knows they can’t profit off renewable energy the same way they can from dirty fossil fuel plants, so they’ve spent the last decade lobbying intensely against solar, in particular, against legislation allowing residents and businesses to install rooftop solar.
