if anyone wants a fantasy series that is free of the tropes of fantasy released in the last few years, and that feels like a fairy tale, i HIGHLY recommend the sevenwaters series by juliet marillier
there's 6 books, each with a different female protagonist, i really loved it

maybe i'll ask for a nintendo switch 2 for christmas (still half paid for by me because i have a gift card), i don't NEED it but i've had my switch since the end of 2017, the battery life is under an hour and the joycons randomly disconnect
