Unfortunately the EFA (it was pre-Brexit) changed the rules and made it solely the area for big companies with deep pockets, killing the fledgling industry in its tracks. But the further you looked the more you realised they were weighting the game against those trying to help others.

Years ago I created one of the first cannabinoid infused drinks brands, having done a lot of research to help mum when she had cancer, to the point I was submitting information for govt papers. It made a difference to many people for whom pain medication wasn't working or needed reducing.

There's one part of I don't understand, he says "I created the Galloway Distillery" and the article also states "Heughan said opening the distillery has been a personal dream", but he bought a distillery and rebranded it, which is very different to opening a distillery. Have I missed something?

It was my first visit, I went because of the casks and left with a love of all things furmint (and the varieties I can't pronounce 😂).
I was mainly around Mád, with the obligatory Tokaj visit. As well as the wine I had some amazing food there too (Karám particularly standing out).
