K: (offscreen) It was tropical, most of the time. Sometimes we got weird storms.

K: Everything was bigger. The flowers, the bugs...

S: Just how big are we talking?
K: Crabroaches as big as us... Didn't taste terrible, though.

K: We didn't have many options. It was an eat-or-be-eaten scenario.
S: Were they any good?
K: Like jellied sardines mixed with peanut butter and stale cheetos.

S: Sounds just like my cooking.

K: Mom had ways to make them taste pretty good though. She taught me a lot.
