A simple intro for now, but hello bsky!
I go by cubes. :)
Here I primarily like to draw/animate K-Pop artists for practice but I might branch out and draw other stuff too.
It's nice to be here!
Well, if you've made your way to the end, thank you! It's been quite a year, but the music has once again been solid.
Happy New Year everyone! 🎉
Onwards to 2025.
Top Tracks: Generator, One Night/All Night, Dear Alan
1. Hyperdrama - Justice

It's been years since their last album, so I was excited to get back into Justice and was not disappointed. Upon first listen I was immediately blown away with those seamless transitions from track to track. Hyperdrama is a heavenly journey from beginning to end.
Finally, last but not least, the number 1. It honestly shocked me, but I've loved their music for a long time, so when they made a return it climbed its way to the top.
Top Tracks: Von dutch, Apple, 365
2. BRAT - Charli XCX

I’ve casually listened to her music every now and then, but this is the first time I’ve listened to an album of hers all the way through. Each track has such a nice bite to it, from club bangers to sentimental lyrics. Easily this album is an instant favourite.
Top Tracks: O, dOpamine, gravity
3. Things I Can’t Say LOve - OnlyOneOf

Despite a short album, it has the quick feelings of a dopamine rush (whether intentional or not). This album is unique to OnlyOneOf’s signature style but retains their recognizable colour. Their music is insatiable and I continue to crave more of their sound.
Top Tracks: Image, That’s My Floor, The Ballad of Matt & Mica
4. Imaginal Disk - Magdalena Bay

I’ve been hooked on this duo’s music since they released Mercurial World. Another psychedelic journey where I feel like I can smell colours and hear every single bird on the planet at once. In other words, this is another fantastic album.
Top Tracks: Butterfly Effect, The Hitchiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Virtual Angel
5. <DALL> - ARTMS

This album felt bittersweet, but ARTMS demonstrate that musical flavour of LOONA with their own unique charms. I love how subtly haunting this album felt with a light sweetness sprinkled in. An incredible listen from beginning to end.
Top Tracks: C’est Jamais Vue, La Boum, Double Down
6. Roll Up - BLACKSWAN

Despite being short, this still felt like a full album. The vocals with a nice sprinkle of rapping in between felt like I was floating on cloud 9. They came back swinging with a really solid mini that blew me away so much so I needed to add it to my top 10 right away.
Top Tracks: Girls Never Die, Heart Raider, White Soul Sneakers
7. <ASSEMBLE24> - tripleS

Having been a fan of tripleS since Generations, I was looking forward to their first album as a group of 24 and man was I not disappointed. Girls Never Die is such a perfect title track and the b-sides of this album are an added bonus to an already fantastic album.
Top Tracks: Viola, Hashtag, DIM
8. I Did - Yves

After her previous mini, it felt like Yves was teasing her unique musical identity and I Did presented it so boldly I was hooked. I’m looking forward to her future releases as I feel like this is only just the beginning.
Top Tracks: No Strings, Smoke On the Highway, Women’s Jeans
9. Townies - X Ambassadors

Always leave it to X Ambassadors to tug at the nostalgic heart strings. This album musically made me feel so many past emotions like a cinematic movie scene. The lyrics are personal but I still resonated with that feeling of reminiscing that this album delivers so well.
