Joe, I’m not sure I understand your thinking here. A lot of people in MAGA right now feel deeply betrayed. For whatever reason, they couldn’t see the other stuff—but this time, something broke through. It’s a step in the right direction—an awakening. Two things can happen at once.

My answer has always been that it's what I do best; it's something I've been fortunate enough to make a living from—art. The world is pretty bizarre, much as good much is not so good and some in somewhere in between, but we are still human and art is important. IMHO

That's great. It's so easy to feel discouraged. It shows we're still human, which is actually a good thing, but of course, we must keep fighting the urge not to let it steal all our joy.

Nothing beats angry political protest songs. That's a good thing, but I guess yes, it gets tiring—you know, only singing about the horrible stuff. But it's hard not to sing about it. Talk about it. Scream about it.

Also, although it wasn't originally written about Vietnam, it became an anthem for some soldiers returning from the war. I find this song really inspiring. But yes, that lyric is a little strange when you first look at it.
