Looking at how Date Everything stores safe files

Was trying to help @ferretferret.bsky.social fix his save file due to some sort of soft-locking issue. The files are in "%USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/SassyChap/Date Everything/{64BitSteamID}" as a bunch of .sav files.

So... Renode. Most of the peripheral types seem to be modelled decently, and then you start looking at the ADCs. 10 implementations, 8 different interfaces. Somehow they did not specify a contract for ADCs, so everyone's just doing whatever they like. What is even going on over there?

SNC7330 peripheral registers exploration

Here's a weird one: each GPIO port has two register banks, one for core 0 and one for core 1. Despite there being a switch for which core can write to the registers, core 0 can always read both banks and write to core 1's bank when it's selected.

Arc is actually a terrible browser now. I tried to visit GitLab and sign in with passkey, and the renderer crashes. Then I try to restart the browser, and Windows tells me it can't open. Turns out it's a UWP app.

Messing around with my soon-expiring travSIM Europe SIM card with 12GB data and unlimited talk/text. Some findings:

1. It's a Three UK SIM, pay as you go
2. The SIM is not linked to an account, so you can just create a My3 account and add the phone number if you want

I just learned that for Arm Thumb, apparently mov with an immediate is not available on all M versions of the architecture, hence why I keep on seeing movs for instructions with an immediate instead of mov, which is seen when you're not dealing with an immediate.

Brute forcing my way through ImageSharp to write indexed PNGs using a specific palette and indexes instead of having it requantize RGB values. Instantiate quantizer and pass it to PngEncoder, then encode a dummy image of the correct dimensions to write out desired palette and indexes.
