I don't expect a "follow back" from anyone, and I'm ok with that. While I might find YOUR content interesting, you might not have any desire to pollute your timeline with MY drivel.

Happy "Ada Lovelace Day." Celebrating women in STEM, it was named after the women widely regarded as the first computer programmer, working with Charles Babbage on his "Analytic Engine." findingada.com

I remember a sign from a protest during his first admin. It said "not all Trump supporters are racist, but for them it's not a deal breaker."

Exactly. To paraphrase David Pakman, we're not disagreeing on whether the marginal tax rate should be 20% or 25%, but rather about "who is a human being," and deserving of rights.

This is always an interesting table to follow over the years. In times of heavy deficit spending, more states slip into the "taker" category as everyone is effectively "taking." Texas, specifically, will switch sides based on oil prices.

My youngest went to a Waldorf school for a few years, a system which generally seems to avoid black in the early years. (I didn't notice it at ours - I think they were ok with it.)

When he ran in 2020, he used the same platform from 2016. "The current Administration has exceeded its constitutional authority, brazenly and flagrantly violated the separation of powers, sought to divide America into groups and turn citizen against citizen." www.salon.com/2020/08/24/r...

For Jesse Watters the other day to actively say on air that he's fine seems like a big step; for the longest time, his health condition (at all) seemed like it was off limits or something.

And if they had caught Nixon before they brought down Agnew, we would have had a REAL preview if Agnew had been promoted.

I'm honestly surprised he pronounced it "Nobel" instead of "noble."

First Logan Square and now Rogers Park? Those are WEIRD places to be targeting. I paid $15 for a fancy PB&J in Logan Square recently - what are they doing?

But that since he met so many people all the time he couldn't keep track of it all. So, he kept track of their family, favorite candies, etc., the same way we might put our friends' birthdays into our phones.

I once read a fictional story of a politician who kept a similar file on everyone he met. Before any meetings, he'd study the files first so he could remember to ask "how's your son's hockey going?" or whatever. He later explained it wasn't "cheating," he truly WANTED to connect with and know...

This is incredible. I work with children and teens "on the spectrum" and they could surely use these. I'll be checking in frequently to see what other ideas you add later which people have suggested.

Yes, it's clunky and feels more like a troubleshooting tool than anything else; I've used it in the past to ensure that a profile moved to a new computer effectively.

They could have really leveraged it in the first place rather than Private Windows, Container Tabs, etc.

The article is pretty vague on what it really is. The existing FF profiles could do it but currently: 1) the interface is clunky and discourages running multiple profiles at the same time, and 2) there aren't any great cues that tell you which profile you're using at the time.

I was just in Logan Square yesterday. It's the kind of neighborhood where you pay $15 for a "peanut butter* sandwich with lettuce, tomato, red onion, cucumber, and sprouts" while the farmer's market goes on next to your table. Weird choice for ICE. (*It was sort of a Thai peanut sauce. Very good.)
