✨️New Pinned Post✨️

So, I like to draw and write, and I'm currently making a GameBoy game with GBStudio and PixelStudio

I'm also working on some stuff with my lil bro in GameMaker Studio 2 (GMS2), but nothing I wanna show just yet

I def want to follow more people who enjoy pixelart and indie games😁
I just caught one of those today!
They really are so cute ✨️
Skipped a few months 😅
They were a hellish few months tho

*BUT* I made amazing progress on my self-care goal

Improved diet, sleep schedule, hobbies, more time outside, stopped ruminating, improved boundaries further, excerising/stretching more, etc...

Going to try to use this month to refocus 💪😤
Resharing my 2025 goals for my monthly reminder/accountability

So far, I've only made acceptable progress on 3 and 4
Reshare for this month (a bit late 😅)

I'm doing really well with everything but language, **STILL** 😩 (but have improved)

Goals for this year
✨️ Learn a new language
✨️ Publish my GameBoy game
✨️ Practice conscious breathing, positive affirmations, and other general self-care
✨️ Draw more
Sounds like a good amount for branching out. I hope you enjoy working with the additional colour
Right? 😅

I was just joking about Taunie watching from the Rooftops like Batman so she could call you the second you stray anywhere

LET ME EXPLORE!! 😭
Alright, autosave aside, it's really fun so far!! I'm enjoying it a lot!
😁✨️
You can't turn off Autosave in Pokemon Legends: Z-A?!! Ugh, I hate that 😩

Great so far tho; I'm still really excited to play!! 😁💚

Whoo! I did it ✨️
Fortnite is fun actually
I'd go with more

You can always get some and like hold them up to it first to see how you'd like it
Def love a good rain effect; it's so soothing
I made it to 733 days on Endless mode in Dawnfolk so far; insanely fun game. I absolutely recommend it!
Pre-ordered Pokémon Z-A and it's DLC today, then picked up Dawnfolk and Torched to play

They both look really good and right up my aisle 😁💚
Good luck with your new project!

And hopefully when you return to shinobeetle you'll feel ready/refreshed ✨️
I find the most difficult thing to be making multiple things at once; it can get hectic if anything throws you off rhythm

Also, things that rely on ingredients that can vary a lot in quality

Like, tea
You can make it perfectly, but the taste can still change so much depending on access to quality
Ah, I never even considered that method of cooking being what people learned from despite my grandmother doing that 😆

I'm pretty good all around
Really exact about everything (time, temp of ingredients, measurements, quality, etc...)
But good at improvising
Ok, I understand why some people feel they're terrible at baking, but great at cooking now

Now I just need to understand the reverse; people who say they are fantastic at baking but terrible at cooking

I'm gonna hazard that it's finding it less vague and therefore easier personally

Thanks!
Thanks for your reply, btw!

I've seen this conversation pop up dozens of times now, but what was being shared was different to my own experiences, and I was struggling to understand but really interested all the same
If you wouldn't mind, could you expand on "cooking allows for a wider range of mistakes"

Are you referring to how it's usually still somewhat edible unless you completely fumble it?
