Amazing! I hope you're not flying with KLM? Inwent to Beijing with them in 2016 and the leg room was awful, didn't get any sleep on the way there and ended up being awake for over 24 hours, was horrible. Anyway, have fun!

I've done a lot of driving today, over 7 hours. This was the last thing I listened to on my way home and it was one of those rare moments that a podcast finishes at the exact moment you pull up at your house. There needs to be a word for that, something German. Maybe Frohhaltende? Hmm, actually...

This is the first of (hopefully) many quarterly nights I'm running upstairs at The Pub in Lancaster. The USP is it's a dance night, no breaks between acts, just like it would be in a club with DJs. First night is 6th December and it's free entry which is pretty pleasing.

Oh man, I'm a social worker and took a week of leave a few years ago and on the Sunday I dreamt I did an entire social care assessment on somebody (these can take around 2 hours or more), woke up feeling like I'd done a day's work before having to go in and do an actual day's work

Growing up I always though neat lawns were just what was meant to happen and it's only in recent years I've come round to the "wild" look. Guess there needs to be more education around it, or more people willing to be educated. Doesn't even have to be an entire lawn, just a bit of it is something

Just chopped the grass at the front of my house for the first time since last year and couldn't care less what the neighbours think. Looked beautiful with long grass and lots of wild flowers that we planted last year starting to seed everywhere. Saw a frog in amongst it all too!
