There was such a push for Ken Ah Kuoi in the last week, posters everywhere. I’m a little worried that 3rd seat was Sarah Free’s who went from Green Party to campaigning with Diane Calvert. So it’s a toss up, I hope Jonny gets in he’s a great advocate for my area

Okay so.. Me Whakamua . This place we live was covered in streams. Birds, fish, thriving plants. These streams would come to be named Pipitea, Waipiro, Kumutoto, Waimapihi, Mutoroa, Waitangi.

please tell me i'm wrong but i think not all councils had maori wards? most of the south island never had them, i'm pretty sure auckland never had them. So they maybe never held a vote? Or am i incredibly wrong?

We got our central library back. There's proper pipes down Taranaki street now. No sewage dripping down Cuba street and Lambton Quay. There's a much safer cycle routes between city and airport, and the basin. The buses aren't cancelled every day

What a difference from Wellington three years ago.

The crumbling seawall was on the other side of the bay where there is no beach. I thought the seawall by the beach was moved forward , that's how bad it is. And if it was about storms you'd think they'd raise the height of the seawall.

my Bravo feed is filled with people referring to someone in Dumps admin as a real housewife and honestly this woman is so incompetent she'd never last. Also stop ruining my joy with politics. Bravo is my escape

they ran to the newspaper and social media awfully fast. I'm not really a big fan of campaigns when a lot of information was hidden - did they have a contract in place for the new tearooms? what sort of lease did they have for the chocolate fish? I suspect the truth is a bit of them a bit of PJ
