Decided to try and hunt a Shalpha Bellsprout to replace our current shiny Victreebel. Was testing the bounds of the method and goofing off before Halloween when only 43 encounters later - Gourdon the SHALPHA Bellsprout arrived!! 💜✨

It took over 19 PHASES - but Teddie the Pancham is finally done being mad at me and has come homeeee after 6,117 encounters. 🐼🤎 Probably will be back at some point to try for a random Alpha, but the score has been settled and a trial ended.

With this - I’ve gotten EVERY species in Zone 3 except my target. 😫😢 Funnily enough, I found this after watching the XY episode with Bonnie and the fairy flower so - Bonnie the Flabébé took only 184 encounters! 🌼✨

I also checked the IVs of my shinies out of curiosity and learned that all 3 of my Shalphas have 4 Perfect IVs each. My guess is that they’re guaranteed at least four for being an Alpha? 🤔
