I see AI slop in anything, I instantly disregard the whole thing. It's like finding a slug in your salad. If you can't write without an LLM, or you can't source art that isn't genAI, you can't be trusted to do anything. Sorry. Absolute deal-breaker.
I don’t know if anyone else notices or cares, but when I see a presentation in which the speaker uses obviously generated-AI images to illustrate their slides, it makes me immediately less confident in whatever other content they’re presenting.

LED hologram fan emulation inside my raytracer (spinning alternates the states of the LEDs to spatially match the pixels, with multiple samples per frame allowing the full image to be seen & scan/flicker), featuring an old but wonderful commissioned piece of Elliot art by @vu06.bsky.social

I always feel a little disconnected in my daydreams cause they're more like "the weather is nice, I got sleep, I'm laying in the sun and I haven't heard bad news in a week" and "two people I trust worked together to plan on making me happy today and focus on me" than anything else bhh
