This little cup was one of my favourite reduction prints. It was an interesting study in light, colour, and shape, using a vintage amber glass cup as a still life reference.

This edition is sold out, but I’m grateful this print is now being enjoyed by fellow admirers of retro glassware!

Printing up glowing gold fuchsias! Notice me burning the edges of the plate at the start? This is to remove any stray fibres from the hessian backing of the block, which tend to unravel and poke out whenever the block is washed.

One of the most frequently asked questions I get is about the paper this is printed on. It's Nepalese Lokta paper. It's perfect for printmaking, very strong but still thin and light enough to allow for hand burnishing prints.
