Things that make me go "huh??" -- I have never planted this type of Rose of Sharon in our backyard. In fact, I made a decision to purchase the white Rose of Sharon only, because it was my favourite. So how does a Rose of Sharon tree just suddenly start growing in one's backyard?

Someone that I knew (and crushed on) in high school just passed away at 62 and I'm in such a state of shock. He was one of those extremely impressive people whom you thought would be around for a long time. :(
