I am using the save the cat method on this manuscript, and I have just reached the 'fun and games' section. More importantly, I have several scenes planned between this and the midpoint. I actually have some after the midpoint scenes planned. And I know the midpoint and most of the act 3 scenes :)

I SHOULD be promoting my book today, but I overslept and I have work to do so YAY for having 2 monitors. Going to catch up while working on powerpoints!

Was a bad migraine weekend at the writing retreat but I finished act 1 and all the set up of the story. Also was nice to be with friends. The house was wonderful and we saw horses and so many birds. It was wonderful. #chincoteague

Spent the day cleaning and working on a writing talk about dialog. I'm taking a different approach. Just like finding your writing voice, characters have to find their voice. The writer's job is to make the reader believe that is what that character would say. Too often we don't listed.

OK finally caught up with life. I was hosting a writing workshop yesterday for the Library while Skate Canada was wrapping up, but WOW.
I've looked at the scores, but more important I have looked at the judge cards and WOW like Ilia's 2nd half combos are insane! I still need to see them.
