We are excited to announce Ireland’s first eBike Cycle Response Unit!

We were delighted to be joined today by Deputy Lord Mayor Kamegni, National Ambulance Service, Councillors Peter Horgan & Oliver Moran, Cork City Council, HSE South West, Roca Sports, & An Garda Siochana who launched the eBikes.
We have volunteer crews out across the city and county this weekend, with a number of crews supporting European Maritime Day, including the Lee Regatta at the Marina and events on Albert and Kennedy Quays!
Our volunteers took part in an outdoor training exercise last night at Ballindenisk Equestrian Arena - well done to all!
We had EMT & paramedic crews covering Dawstown Point to Point races today near Blarney, with additional crews at Pairc ui Rinn, Ballindenisk equestrian, Musgrave Park rugby and soccer at Turner's Cross over the weekend!
Our volunteers took part in a training exercise last night alongside volunteers from Order of Malta Carrigaline, with simulated patients in an industrial setting - everything from trauma, to electrocution & cardiac arrest.

This type of training helps to build skills and great relationships!

We have volunteers at all levels on duty at Cork v Galway in Pairc ui Chaoimh this evening - cadet, FAR, EFR, EMT, Paramedic, Advanced Paramedic and nurse, working alongside Dr Adrian Sheehan.

We had crews across Cork City & Upper Glanmire parades today, in ambulances, rapid response vehicles and bikes alongside volunteers from Civil Defence, Irish Red Cross and Order of Malta. Happy St Patrick's Day! ☘️ Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh!
Today, our new ambulance SJ65 is on its first duty at Holi Festival in Fitzgerald's Park - Ferdia & Alan are looking after everyone there.

Our volunteers were delighted to attend an appreciation event organised by the HSE on Thursday to recognise support provided during snow storms in January of this year - our vols backed up National Ambulance Service, transported patients to appointments & medical staff to work. Well done all!
