(Oh, and I made it in a 20ct aida fabric, hence the ugly stitches. Looks like 18ct what is working for me 😅)
I would do a lot of things differently now, but this is the beauty of learning curves, ain't it?
Happy Easter, everyone (who celebrates)!
This year I didn't have the mental and free-time capacity to make something new for this holiday, so please welcome again my previous #embroidery pieces!
Finished #mushroomguy!!!!!!!
She's got a bit of a rizz (so, I tried to hide the atrocious stitching with beads), and #amigurumi won't be my fav game, but I'm tempted to make a bigger one.
Gave her a moss "throne" too (no pattern, just pure chaos).
Love or nah?
#crochet 🧶
So, #beadcrochet is really fun (okay, I spent half my weekend figuring out the first five rows), and it was a dumb idea to start with black 11/0 beads, black yarn, and slip stitches, but I can't wait to wear this necklace!
#crochet 🧶 #crochetsky #handmade
Being a multipassionate person is really exciting sometimes because even I don't know what my next project will be... so I tried out lino printing to fabric. Well, next time I will know how NOT to do the transfer 😅
Popquiz: what is wrong with my mushroom guy and who needs more sleep?
#crochet 🧶
Gosh, the + sign will be perfect, thank you! I didn't even recognize that it appears...
Isn't that a type of abuse of alt text? Or just for the technical details? I like to yapping about mental health or "weird" feelings or something, and I feel this platform would be much open for real convos, but with the 300 characters I feel like a teenager again 😅
Leaving my comfort zone is fine… as long as I stay physically in it. New crafts feel safer at home (no unpredictable chaos). First weaving: a ‘rustic’ bookmark (wonky 🥹).
Wish this app had more characters-I’d write paragraphs about crafting-as-therapy. But for now, this’ll do. #weaving #knitsky 🧶
Oh, it must be fine! I just realized that I have free will, so I could totally make it from sock yarn, because it won't be used as a toy for a child, so now I'm trying to get back my motivation to finish it 😅
Do it! The pattern is really well written and cute (but there is no way in hell that I'll make another one from cotton in the foreseeable future... how people use it for crochet, I cannot comprehend)
Please tell me that this is not too terrible - I dislike most of the cotton yarns and I still don't know how I feel about amigurumi, but I really want to #crochet that mushroom boi 😐🧶
Ohhh, I love that color! I wish it would be a Malabrigo sock yarn, because I could put my hands on the yarn
What colors would you choose instead?
Hey, it's #wipwednesday !
Show me what you're working on, it can be #knitting #crochet 🧶 #embroidery or any #fiberart , heck, even if you're working on a #painting :)
(Dumb picture for start)
Bahh, I know that feeling 🥲 wishing you the best and I hope you'll show the results :)
Is that a flying tiger kit? It felt bad to leave it on the shelf 🥲
Quick post: my (smaller-than-desired) loot from the quarterly local yarn fair. My usually - introverted ass - had great conversations, and it's extremely good to know that even if sometimes looks like the whole world collapses, there are like-minded people.
#knitsky 🧶
(The bunny glows in the dark!)
Now I envy a spider for its own yarn. Great 😀
Just got another bead #embroidery kit. I didn't really plan it this way, but it's a perfect project for the year of the snake.

(The kit came from Ukraine with a card, and a few nice words were written on it. Knowing the situation, it was hard to keep it together. Thank you so much ❤️)
My #knitting 🧶 mojo has left the chat (well, not the cast on, the finishing version of it), but this book gives me comfort. It's the Hungarian version of Bramble Hedge, and originally, I bought this as an inspiration for my drawing journey, but heaven knows, I needed that.
Thank you! This is definitely a clever design, and the designer has a really good tutorial for it. My favorite part was that she used paper pieces to mark the end of the rows. It's a simple yet smart and effective way to avoid going crazy.
I'm not an amigurumi magician, so some parts may seem a little odd, but aren't these forbidden pies looking cute?

#crochet pattern is from CauliCrochet (you can find a tutorial on YT!) 🧶
