I think of this video often. We shouldn’t be fighting the same fight. Waiting for comfort and decorum isn’t the way. Progress happens when you don’t stop.

If I'm understanding this correctly, the man who shot two national guards in DC was a former Afghan child soldier who fought alongside US special forces and in a CIA-supervised unit and later was granted asylum. The word "blowback" comes to mind.

National Guard especially from another territory should not be deployed elsewhere. Nothing would piss me off more than someone from Texas thinking they can tell a Californian in California what to do. If they’ve died it’s Trump’s fault.
National Guard soldiers didn't sign up to be deployed as local police indefinitely as part of someone else's political stunt.

National Guard troops don't sign up to be used as political pawns. They sign up to serve their country, not needlessly deploy to American cities to pick up garbage. These two soldiers should be alive right now and at home with their families for Thanksgiving. I'm furious.

There must be zero tolerance for violence — of any kind — against the brave men and women in uniform who selflessly serve our communities and our country. The shooting of National Guard members in Washington, D.C. is horrific and unacceptable.

The Georgia case drop is a great example of how judicial breadcrumbing eventually leads to the same throwing of legalese and procedure to justify letting Donald Trump win. They will justify it with legal jargon but it’s authoritarian law succeeding.

Remember that it’s not that a Democratic governor can’t, it’s that they don’t want to. Local officials have loads of room to negate authority against federal but not the state commander in chief. Even if YOU can’t accept it, History will agree. Hope it won’t be too late.
