Solo Deving doesn't mean you can't use and adapt the wide variety of Creative Commons asset packs, sound libraries, etc, to save time and effort. Just be sure to give credit and thanks to the OG creators #gamedev #indiegamedev #sologamedev

There's so many cool things to learn in #gamedev it can seem overwhelming but I think that's part of the appeal. Just take a deep breath and dive in, don't compare your journey to others ,and you'll come out the other side with great experience and skills

github is great, but if all you are after is version control you can just use `git` without github at all. Obviously, this negates the backup bonus that github makes easy, but there are other ways to compensate for that as well.

Possibly changing tactics with the onrails shooter, couldn't get it to work right with love2D. I understand all of them used 3D chips/engines but I thought with clever enough parallax it could work. At best it adds some nice atmosphere right now. /shurg #struggle #gamedev
