Retired international minigolfer, likes the odd beer, cheese, exploring, cheese, lists, cheese, old football shirts and cheese. And cheese. And just started parkruns with a cheese chaser.

It's that smirk. She's ugly inside.
I don't if anyone else who does parkrun does this but I binge eat after like if I've just made the weight in for a boxing match.

Second best time so far, just 33 seconds off Mildenhall last week, but 2:14 faster than Huntingdon PB.

This bridge, it's steeper than it looks to my knees.

Looking forward to the next one. This makes me happy.

If you don't pay for a ticket, you're not allowed to look up at the sky...
A sad sight in farming as all the mummy and daddy Weetabix are rounded up while we kidnap their young to be later eaten.

They never mention this on Countryfile.
Trump didn't win the Peace Prize and isn't off to a good start for next time.
I went to Birmingham for the weekend in March. I loved the mix of cultures, reminded me of being in Toronto at times. Great video.
Surely FIFA and Gianni Infantino aren't going to listen to this Mega Orange Nonce.

Fuck off, Trump.... and release the files, you 'phile.
Ah yes, the classic Trump logic: if you say it loud enough, maybe it becomes true. Never mind that FIFA is the organization that actually decides World Cup locations apparently, in Trumpworld, international soccer obeys presidential whim.
Trump threatens to yank World Cup games from Boston though it's up to FIFA to choose sites
President Donald Trump is threatening to relocate World Cup matches set to be played next year in suburban Boston.

Perhaps if he wasn't slapping willy and indeed nilly tariffs on everyone, other countries would be happy to trade more.
21 years ago this week that I made a life changing call and got on Richard and Judy's You Say We Pay and won £7,000. Enough to start a business with. There are so many people I would never have met if that didn't happen.

I will never forget what this did for me.
Thanks for the advice, I will do.
Don't know yet, just put myself down for anything. Not for a few weeks.
I've done 9 runs so far but seeing the chance to help out while not limping around a music venue to Saturn 5 appealed to me. I've earmarked a couple of other dates in the future too for volunteer duties. The ones I've met so far have been all lovely.
Going to do my first parkrun volunteer next month as I don't think I have it in me to go running in the morning and then pogoing at the Inspiral Carpets in the evening at the age of 51. Happy to help where I can.
Why does no one in the room question him on his lies or just say "go on, prove it"?
Parkrun 9.
Mildenhall Hub.
Shirt SPAL. Mess wore Sudbury.
Time 31:40. A new PB by 1:37.

Beginning of August, I was just under 40 minutes. I don't know how this is happening but it is. Great to catch up with @messageismyname.bsky.social, hopefully not too long until the next time.
Night in on a Friday for once, went out last night and two in a row is hedonistic.

Up for a parkrun tomorrow in Mildenhall with a first timer @messageismyname.bsky.social. Not seen each other for six months so looking forward to a catch up.
