I have a stainless steel hip and tangerine blood. I don't do likes. Worked in IT since before it was known as IT. Politically homeless. Socially aware. Proud dad of #Autistic Seasider! #BlackpoolFC #Blackpool #StAnnes #Fylde #UTMP

Waste of public funds. Can only wear one at a time. Maybe give two, to allow for washing.
Somebody please explain US politics to me.

In the UK, govt is formed from elected representatives incl the Prime Minister and all Secretaries of State.
Each is elected by a constituency of roughly the same number of voters.

The US has a CEO President who appoints a board of non-elected management.
GB News will soon have an interview with someone who was there the last time.
Serious question @zackpolanski.bsky.social:

Reform have shown that even with a popular front man, whether you agree with him or not, they simply don't have competent people being elected to represent them.
So how do you get candidates of the right calibre, with the right qualities and competency?
This is getting silly now. The ballroom will clearly look nothing like this.
There are no big screen TVs, no digital advertising boards, no coke machines.
Well, well, well...
Watch any episode of Escape To The Country... "Oooh, it's got a wood-burner!!!"
It means nothing because the mainstream media are controlling the narrative. Even yesterday, BBC were interviewing grannies in Wales about why they were switching from Labour to Reform; nobody is telling them they are being manipulated and lied to.
There's a good point here. Whether or not you agree with his politics, @zackpolanski.bsky.social is consistently consistent. He's sharp, straight, prepared, focused and answers without deflection or obfuscation.
Surely that's the least we should expect from ALL politicians, whatever party?
Zack Polanski consistently knocks it out of the park. Level-headed, concise, considered and diplomatic while also being fiercely unwavering in his values. This is what a leader looks like #newsnight
Must make it awkward going to the theatre.
Ten people trapped in a lift in Sainsbury’s for two hours. Zero communication at all for the first hour.
Here’s Sainsbury’s response.
Somebody please explain why there's VAT on laxative teas, but not ordinary tea.
And who even has the time to even think about and discuss this stuff, let alone type it up in a government document?
I guess it depends on whether they had Jaffa Cakes or Chocolate Fingers.
Nah. That's like getting a new sofa. Once you get used to it, you wonder why you went through the expense and hassle of changing it.
I just learned about undecillion - that's a one followed by 66 zeros in the UK (36 zeros in the US, because they're only nearly half as good as us).

So it's got me thinking of #UndecilliousWords!

The most delicious thing is undecillicious.
The most enjoyable thing is undecillerious.

Any more?
I bought a stone-topped dining table. It's heat proof, scratchproof and stainproof.
Buy my wife insists on using table mats because she doesn't "trust" it.
And I guess she never will. Because if we ever marked or stained it, she'd be right.
So I wasted all that money, should have bought cheaper.
Yay. It's one of those "some fucking idiot dumped a load of files on a virtual server and now it's got no disk space left" days.
I’m assuming the ballroom will have bleachers, a jumbotron and a globally recognised venue sponsor.
