The overall impression of Pokemon Legends Z-A online is that it's a step in the right direction and one thing that the majority agree on is that voice acting would have brought the game to a new level. The game features well animated cut scenes and the characters lips move when talking, but there's no English or Japanese voice acting, which can leave the dialogue feeling a little flat in this day and age.
