Even once he’d tied his bootlace he ambled back into the box rather than run quickly into position. Got what they deserved.
Pretty straightforward win, rotated but found no loss in quality. In the quarter finals once again. #NUFC
Cracking start to the second half! Well in the big Jorman!!
There’s that “He’s not very good in the air for a big man” being laughably inaccurate once again. #NUFC
Deservedly in front, Spurs have been largely poor but you’d think they’ve got gears to move through. #NUFC need a second to win this I reckon. Decent first 45 from the home side.
Thought Willock looked promising, running with the ball and also grafting to get it back.
YESSSSS!!! Get in Fab, you beautiful man!!!
Almost total domination, now the breakthrough. #NUFC
Aside from driving to Legoland, I’ve only been outside of the hotel for a trip to Asda and a short run. What I saw wasn’t a great advert for Slough.
But crucially near to Legoland! 😂
It’s not the best, but I’m sure the lads will do their bit. Thanks!
Spurs have rotated a bit, we should be able to negotiate tonight with what we have put out. Might be tight.
Eddie rotating then. Haven’t seen the Spurs team, but unless they have similarly rotated we could have a difficult night tonight.
Sadly I’m not there, my dad going on my ticket. Watching from a hotel room in Slough of all places

What it will also do is benefit us longer term, not just within individual games (although that is certainly helping us at the moment, bringing on quality subs to win games). At the back end of the season we could really benefit from fresher players, stay in cup competitions longer, etc.
Sitting through the Palace paper aeroplane game was utterly excruciating, so I can’t see why you did.
Can I throw Souness into the ring? Spent an absolute fortune on some awful players, taking a European qualifying team to the bottom half of the league. He started the rot that lead to the Ashley years and all that followed in my opinion.
Really not looking forward to #NUFC having to go away to Brentford in a couple of weeks. They’ve looked superb tonight.
Completely, it’s ingrained with some people. The current political climate isn’t helping either. People with those views feel less sheepish about outing themselves as racists.
That’s because they are pig ignorant. I’m old enough to remember open racism on the terraces, even when we had black players, it never really went away they just stopped the blatant monkey chants once the ground became all seater and they could be easily identified.
The idiot behind me was one of them. He later was screaming to “get on with it” whilst Botman was down nursing a head injury. Some people are just colossal morons.
Flat performance, flat atmosphere for the bulk of that. Lots of sloppy passing. The warning signs were flashing for quite some time before they equalised. Thankfully agent of chaos Osula was there to help make what looked like an unlikely winner happen. A huge win. #NUFC
No major changes, surely we’ll put an out-of-form Fulham to the sword today? I’m going 2-0 to #NUFC.

Cracking performance from #NUFC. Bar the brief spell first half, we dominated. Their keeper kept it respectable in the end. Gordon & Miley really impressive, but quality performances all over the pitch (including from subs).
Not sure what to expect tonight. Benfica a big European name with bags of European experience, but Portuguese league isn’t particularly strong & they aren’t the best Portuguese team at the moment. Could be tough game or we could wipe the floor with them. Either way, #NUFC must play better than Sat.
Although it’s been a disappointing run of results for NUFC women, Becky Langley leaving has come pretty much out of the blue for me. Presumably it’s been on the cards behind the scenes and it’s been timed with the international break. Pretty sad, but guess that’s football.
March 2025. Tino cross, Murphy header. It looked like he headed it away from goal, but somehow it went in.
