We spend so much energy being anti–the other party (Dems + Repubs alike) treating the opposition as the biggest threat to society. But the truth is, the most transformative force shaping our future isn’t partisan at all it’s AI. We’re not paying nearly enough attention to it from a govt standpoint
Just a few years ago, a project like this was unthinkable on Jersey City’s West Side. Today, I cut the ribbon on The Verde, 155 new units (10% affordable) near Lincoln Park. Proof of the progress + momentum we’ve built on the West Side. The story is changing.

12 yrs ago tomorrow, I was sworn in as mayor of #JerseyCity. I still remember the excitement + you can see from this photo the city felt it too. That moment kicked off the most ambitious chapter in our city’s modern history +today, JC is one of the best midsize cities in the U.S.
And we’re starting traffic studies now to explore No Turn on Red being thoughtful on where/how to implement across JC. We’re aiming to move on this by year’s end too.
Also coming:
🗓️ November: we’ll propose reducing citywide speed limits to 20 MPH. We’ll petition the state + aim to finalize before year-end.
Both pairs would become one-way: one northbound, one southbound. Major safety upgrade ahead

Current setup: 4 lanes (2 each way).
Proposed:
✅ 1 lane northbound
✅ 1 lane southbound
✅ 1 lane for protected bike lanes
✅ 1 lane for Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)
🚗 All current parking stays
Major street safety redesign/bike improvements for Jersey City

🚨 On the September Council agenda, we’re putting forward a big redesign for major streets including bike lanes/safety:

• Summit/Baldwin (Wards C/D)
• MLK/Ocean Ave (Wards A/F)
A healthy city is a growing city that attracts private investment. We have done that in Jersey City better than any other city in the region. Today we broke ground on another 675 units, $400m project. Abundance theory is about more supply + we understand that in Jc
Before/After pictures - we cut the ribbon today on the new park Pavonia Marion. Over the last decade, there isn’t a city in NJ that has accomplished more than we have around open space + park improvements. #JerseyCity
Didn’t go the way we hoped last night, but I’m incredibly grateful. I’m proud of the campaign we ran—substantive, different, and true to our vision for NJ.

Taking a short break to recalibrate, but thank you all. Truly.
I’ve spent most of this campaign focused on meet & greets and connecting w/undecided, engaged voters- not street festivals. But today, I hit 3 major festivals in 3 different counties + the reception blew me away. I couldn’t be more excited and encouraged heading into Tuesday!
Kicked off the day with a Meet & Greet in Fair Lawn, then stopped by Fair Lawn Pride 🏳️‍🌈 now onto a full day of events and canvassing. Let’s change New Jersey together! 💪 #NJPolitics #DemocratsForChange
Spoke at the BAPS in Robbinsville - 2000 ppl. Growing up in Edison and being the mayor of #JerseyCity, I certainly feel comfortable here. I’m thankful to be close to this community for so many years
Early PATH train shift with ATU! Starting the day with a focus on transit and changes for commuters - whether it be planes, busses, or trains - transportation in NJ is a mess and it’s time to change that
Bergen County afternoon event done. Now I’m off to Essex County for another meet and greet with undecided voters. We will fight to earn every vote. #DemocratsForChange

This Odd Lots interview with Fulop is great. You can tell when a YIMBY really knows what they're talking about and can get in the weeds vs someone who just says build/zoning/build/zoning.
My parents just voted in Bergen. I know for certain I am +2 for the day! #DemocratsForChange
Morning Monmouth County event done - now back to #JerseyCity then off to Mercer County for a meet and greet. We will fight to earn every single vote.
We had teams at 10 trains stations this morning across NJ - our volunteers are fired up and pushing for a different type of Democratic Party in Nj - a party that puts you first and not party bosses. Join us at www.stevenfulop.com
250ppl South Jersey meet & greets. We’re building something different. It’s a campaign to end the county boss system of politics and deliver accountable, resident-focused government. Join us: www.stevenfulop.com
Just wrapped up a midday stop in Union County and now heading to South Jersey for two meet-and-greets this evening. We’re building a movement to end boss-style politics and deliver accountable, resident-focused government. Join us: www.stevenfulop.com
Wed Morning - train station… Senior event… and back to JC for some work. We are 6 days away from changing NJ forever and the political machine is scared for sure. Join us at www.StevenFulop.com
