How are people feeling about Bessent and his “3-3-3” plan now?
Amazing to me how seriously folks are taking this “3-3-3” thing and the Bessent appointment even going so far as trying to identify its market impact…
“.. What will matter now is how markets will price in Bessent’s ‘3-3-3 rule;’ 3% budget, 3% GDP, and 3 million barrels of oil output. A direct implication is lower Treasury yields as the budget deficit is cut in half, and lower energy prices would bring inflation further down.”

My cheek muscle hurts. I’ve been wondering why. Just remembered that I chewed gum for the first time in years today after lunch. It was given out in lieu of candy at the Chinese restaurant.
