Talk me out of buying a 3D printer that I will not use after a couple of months and I’m not sure what I would use it for right now anyway but seems sort of cool and useful to have.

When I’m President, I’ll make it illegal to lip sync at the Thanksgiving parade.

We have an unspoken rule that we don’t discuss politics at Thanksgiving with our Republican extended family, but surely this year has to be an exception, right..?

Ok, my favourite photo from today's #trailrunning is my homage to Constable, or Turner.
It speaks of English northern countryside, mud, stone, fences, stile, rolling fields in the background and the heavens ready to unload.

As if this guy could name just one generic brand label from any grocery store… 🙄
Fuck these arrogant millionaires who have the gall to tell ordinary Americans upset about high food prices that they should just substitute lower-quality generic food and quit complaining.
Hassett: "On one of the Sunday shows, the anchor criticized the fact Walmart said the Thanksgiving dinner is cheaper by about $10. Then he said, 'Oh yeah, but they substituted generic stuff,' as if having a generic something is a crime for ordinary folks! It shows how out of touch these people are."

Took a Star Wars movies ranking quiz, and here’s my results. Not necessarily “this film is better than that film” but more “this film entertains me more than that film, possibly through a nostalgic lens”.

It was in 1714 by Pierre Raké, who later became known as “The Rake King” and whose garden tool business flourished to vault his family into the 20 wealthiest in Europe.

Alas, his descendant Albert Raké squandered the fortune on seducing women earning him the ironic sobriquet of “The Rake King”.

Who decided we needed to rake up leaves? We should find him and shoot him.

Found out last night that my 16yo daughter will be the lead in her high school’s next show, Cinderella by Rodgers & Hammerstein.

Here’s her most recent performance at a school fundraiser. Please be kind, internet.

Nuclear war devastated the world. Now, decades later, those countries that can have been rebuilding, keeping themselves isolated to prevent another war.

Not that it stops spies, though.

But what happens when one such spy falls in love with his mark?

Our cat makes gurgling noises as we’re getting him his food, which could mean “Thank you very much for your kindness” but probably means “About bloody time, slave”.

It should be illegal for laptops to save your files in a folder you’re pretty sure you didn’t allocate it to, thus making you believe you lost a day’s worth of work.

Bought myself an early Christmas present. I’ve read it’s good for solo play (ha ha), as I don’t think I’ll get the rest of the family interested. Also suggested to buy the Unfinished Business expansion when I’ve got used to the gameplay.
