Lithuanian National Defence Minister Dovilė Šakalienė:

For Russia, strategic dilemmas are its tools, its weapons…Until Russia feels that it will suffer consequences of its war of aggression that would impair its ability to expand its military power, everything else is just talk.

The Netherlands pledges additional €90 million to boost Ukraine's drone production
The Netherlands will soon provide Ukraine with €90 million to boost production of reconnaissance and strike drones, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans said ahead of a North Atlantic Council meeting. He spoke before the session, according to a correspondent on the scene. “The Netherlands is doing more for Ukraine than ever. A few days ago, I announced €200 million to support counter-UAV efforts,” Brekelmans said. “Today I’m announcing another €90 million package for drones - both reconnaissance and strike.” Brekelmans said Ukraine’s industry can still produce more, which is why the Netherlands is investing additional funds. He added that sustained, long-term military support is needed to complicate the plans of Russian President Vladimir Putin and raise Moscow’s costs as the war continues. He said this applies to both bilateral arrangements and broader projects that use other tools, such as frozen assets. Brekelmans said he believes additional sanctions and economic pressure on Russia will make Putin realize that continuing the aggression will not succeed, and that ultimately Ukraine will prevail. In early October, the Netherlands pledged €55 million to a World Bank trust fund for Ukraine’s recovery programs. The country also joined the Purl initiative (the Priority Ukraine Requirements List) and is urging allies to help procure critical US-made weapons. Brekelmans noted that since 2022, Amsterdam has provided €20.6 billion in support to Ukraine, including €13.6 billion for military needs.

Russia is using more missile-bombs (jet powered KABs) now, allowing the nasty guided bombs to strike deeper into Ukraine. The aerial bombs are launched from the Azov Sea.

‼️ "Russia did not plan for such a long-lasting conflict as it actually turned out to be. Russia definitely did not expect such strong international support for Ukraine. And that is why Russia absolutely needs a pause to restore its military capabilities," — Budanov.

Evidence of increasingly frequently "drone safari" strikes in Sumy

The Geneva Conventions are surprisingly liberal in allowing civilian deaths as "collateral damage"
When you deliberately fly drones in to civilian cars, there's no defence.
