@impactwales.bsky.social just listened to the recent podcast...I can't see anywhere in the curriculum guidance that explicitly says that 'cueing' is to be used to 'guess' words. I don't know any schools who don't use phonics. Is there a reading 'crisis'? Feels more like scaremongering
