5️⃣ Finally, we rounded off the month exhibiting at The Great Exhibition of Lincolnshire, celebrating local innovation and talent and introducing even more people to the exciting work of STEP Fusion.

4️⃣ We were proud to support the North Notts Business Expo at Barnby Moor, hosted by North Notts BID, before heading over to Market Rasen the following week for an FSB Bootcamp, joining local businesses from across Lincolnshire.

3️⃣ Our team then got stuck in at the Osberton Horse Trials, exhibiting alongside local businesses from across the area - and our robot dogs, Tok and Mak, even won best in show (robot dog category, of course!).

2️⃣ Then, in Retford we spoke with members of the Notts Environmental Association about fusion energy and our plans for West Burton power station.

We were proud to attend the inaugural North Notts Business Expo - an event delivered by North Notts BID and the Bassetlaw Business Alliance, bringing together local businesses, innovators, and stakeholders from across the district.

Last week, STEP Fusion colleagues came together for the UKAEA's Discovery Day.

The event featured an exhibition with a series of talks and panel discussions. Our CEO, Paul Methven, presented “UKIFS: The Story So Far”, sharing an update on the STEP programme.

Alan Perks (pictured right) has been commissioned by the East Midlands Combined County Authority to carry out feasibility work for a dedicated discovery centre, focused on energy and the Supercluster, with STEP Fusion at the heart of this project.
