Doomscrolling on LinkedIn it seems a lot of front end developer roles are now putting NextJS on top of a set of APIs and then the devops to deploy these apps.
Is this the standard for web development now?

I’ve been using Logseq for the last couple of weeks at work, and I’m enjoying it. It links well within files, the task workflow of NOW and LATER is all I need and I’m using the Bear theme, which makes it look lovely.

Went to #angularconnect this weekend, it’s great to have it back. Some really interesting talks, a lot on AI as expected. The hashbrown.dev talk was very interesting. Also @jeanmeche.com talk on working on #angular was very interesting.

I’ve been working, well getting started with, #kotlin it’s a language I’ve never really thought about before but I’m enjoying it.

I don’t currently write Python code but I’m looking forward to this documentary. The others Cult.Repo have done are great. A Kotlin one would be interesting too
Python first appeared in 1991. That’s almost 35 years ago 🫨

In the Python documentary, you’ll see how it went from hobby project to global phenomenon, used in everything from AI to astrophysics…

And how it almost ceased to exist.

Who knew the Python story would be so spicy? 🌶️

I’ve been using Flexbox with Tailwind, it’s such an improvement over pre-flexbox CSS, but i still enjoyed working with CSS Grid. I preferred the syntax and the approach.
