Had great week microtonal trumpet last week: recorded microtonal flugelhorn pieces by Geoff Cox and Eleri, rehearsed with Richard Whalley and Sarah Keirle Dos Santos, worked with Eddie Clijsen and improvised with Atefeh Einali (Santur). Also spent evenings with Lauren, Alistair, Scottie and Amina!

Following on from the Tokyo performances, Zafraan Ensemble will be performing movements from ‘Three Miniatures’ for solo clarinet (1984) by Donald Bousted in Berlin on 3rd July, as part of their 'Shaping Time' project at the Theater im Delphi.

Very excited to announce that on 31st May in Tokyo, three of Donald Bousted's works will be performed by members of the Phidias Trio: 'The Dream' (1992) for solo piano, 'Three Miniatures' for solo clarinet (1984) and two movements from 'Sunday Solos' (2020) for solo violin.

Back in Freiburg after Hyperchromatic Festival at Goldsmiths Uni London, recording impro in Bruges with Gilbert Isbin and Easter Weekend in Brussels and Leuven. Now it's time to put the trumpet back together, clean and do office work before school resumes next week.
