Omarchy feels great and I love that so many things just work. Having said that.. I don't really understand why so many apps are 'installed' as web apps. Discord being one of them. Discord as a web app is not a good experience, so as a sane person I just fixed that.

I've used multiple monitors for a long time but now I'm realizing that I've only stuck with using multiple monitors as a solution to problems with Windows. I'm now only using 1 monitor and I'm discovering the small nice parts of Linux that never clicked as a Windows user.

Day 2 of using Omarchy as my main OS. Coming from Windows, I only miss PowerToys, mostly the PowerToys Run since the flexibility it has is hard to replace. I would love to find something similar for Omarchy.

Ive used Zen for about a week now and it has been so smooth that I almost forgot I was trying out a new browser.

Tried Vivaldi for about a week. It has some.. quirks. Might as well try Zen at this point.

I'm trying so hard to like the Vivaldi browser but it just keeps dying on me randomly for seemingly no reason.

At first I was a bit annoyed with all the things I felt I needed to tweak in the Vivaldi UI but now I'm just having fun with it and making everything feel perfect. I might share all the tweaks at some point.

Been using @vivaldi.com for about a week now and my favorite feature so far is the Quick Commands (CTRL+E). I use ALT+SPACE for the Power Toys Run a lot, so a similar left hand 'shortcut' has been fantastic. The bookmark nicknames make it even better.

Been reviewing a website for a business that has multiple clients and handle appointments and such and the first thing I notice is that all of the "Book now" type links don't do anything. This business is paying a lot for this website and basic things aren't even connected to anything. WTH!

One small thing I don't understand is the gap when I have only 1 tab. It's small but kinda annoying tbh. And yes I use vertical tabs on the left and icons only. #VivaldiBrowser

After using Vivaldi for a few days and tweaking one thing at a time to make it feel more like how I had Firefox customized, it's starting to feel pretty good.

@cssbattle.dev For a moment I thought I was going crazy until I noticed what was wrong. Was this intentional or a late monday for someone?

Haven't done one in a couple of weeks and nailed a 700+ score. Now to wait until I can see what the big brains do for even less chars.

Been doing a few of these lately and it always throws me off how Firefox will render things one way but a chromium browser another way.

Hello?
Do you use #CSS grid? Ever wanted to have separators in between grid areas?
Have you resorted to weird background gradient, box-shadow & more hackarounds to solve this?
Then check out this gap decorations proposal blogs.windows.com/msedgedev/20...

Randomly came across this (see image). Why isn't this feature more common? This would be a useful option for Discord as an example. Small thing to add but for those that have a reason to turn hardware accel. off, this is pretty nice.

My 2025 plans have a lot of green squares. Time to get started on some things.
