You may see the old man but look closer and you'll see the lifelong learner, the runner, the wannabe poet and the cineaste who loves stories of humanity and resilience. Family matters (and MCFC is part of my family)
Guardiola is right that City need to improve. Today was turgid and so dull.

Few teams will be as poor as WHU. If we play like this against Forest next week, we will lose.

Fuck me, this is dull
December 20, 2025 at 4:24 PM
Pretty football but dull as fuck with zero urgency from City. WHU will be encouraged by how ineffective City are since scoring
December 20, 2025 at 3:36 PM
I see all the City podcasters and YouTubers are predicting easy win today. They did the same against Leeds - never learn do they?
December 20, 2025 at 1:55 PM
How the fuck are Newcastle allowed to kick players off the park, week after week.
December 20, 2025 at 1:17 PM
Every time I watch Palmer, it irritates the fuck out of me that Guardiola couldn't see what a simply wonderful footballer he is.
December 20, 2025 at 1:13 PM
How annoying is Hinchcliffe's incessant drivel and negativity about everything a City player does?
December 17, 2025 at 8:43 PM
England played nobody better than the Dog and Duck pub team in the qualifiers. They'll need Foden when they're playing the best teams - systems get you so far, players win you tournaments.

Nico, Gvardiol, O'Reilly, Dias absolutely superb. Cherki excellent and a great sub from Savio.

Nunes deserves a mention.

Bernardo has not been good
December 10, 2025 at 9:43 PM
Fair play, City. Brilliant response. Wouldn't be surprised to see us go on and score more now
December 10, 2025 at 8:50 PM
Fully deserved. Miles better than City
December 10, 2025 at 8:28 PM
Matter of time before Madrid score the way City are playing - can't keep the ball.

Ha, ha. Fat chance, mates. This is FIFA. Y'know: world peace, inclusivity, human rights and a little bit of football.

FIFA won't kowtow to the whims of dictators, fascists and ignoramuses. No siree.

It was all 'How can City treat a legend like this?' when it was KdB and no contract.

But, as usual, the fawning media circle around to protect Liverpool.

Salah's right. LFC have not handled this well. City did with KdB.

Trafford surely has to start now. Donnarumma and crosses! How bad is he? PL teams have watched that and will be rubbing their hands with glee.
December 2, 2025 at 9:30 PM
Can't believe I'm writung this but unless we score a 6th, we ain't winning this
December 2, 2025 at 9:17 PM
All these podcasters predicting big win for City today. They know nothing. It was always going to be close - haven't they been watching how we've been playing?
November 29, 2025 at 5:04 PM
Defensive brainfarts, another Reijnders no show and more arrogance from a team that thought they'd won the game in the first half.

Leeds playing with real desire, more desire working than City.

Attitude comes from the manager.
November 29, 2025 at 4:47 PM
Ludicrous for City to think they are in a title race with Arsenal.

Arsenal look like best team in Europe right now with no weaknesses.

Huge, huge task for City to get to that level again.

Need top class right back, fully fit Rodri and another top, top midfielder

(and a manager with fresh ideas)
November 26, 2025 at 10:10 PM
What was Guardiola playing at? A completely changed defence that'd never played together before & most of whom were playing different formations for different countries last week.

A front 5 that were pushed off the ball so easily with barely a goal between them.

No leaders on the pitch

He's done
November 26, 2025 at 10:51 AM
So tomorrow we almost certainly drop out of the top 8.

Thanks, Pep.

I can think of no other manager who would be stupid enough to drop 10 of his best 11 in a need-to-win game.
November 25, 2025 at 10:08 PM
And don't get me started on Reijnders. Looks busy, creates nothing
November 25, 2025 at 9:47 PM
Savio has done more to thwart City attacks than any Leverkusen player.
November 25, 2025 at 9:41 PM
No team stays the best team.

No manager stays the best manager.

Teams get past their use by date.
So do managers.

We need fresh ideas, the players need fresh voices.
